NAP Festival 2015
Now in its 16th year running, the Nimmanhaemin Art & Design Promenade – or NAP for short – is one of Chiang Mai’s premier art festivals, bringing together makers and creatives from all over Thailand for a week of exhibitions, workshops and live music. This year’s event boasts more than 100 booths and an incredibly diverse array of handmade, locally designed and vintage goods. Among my favourite booths are Chiang Mai’s own InClay Pottery, Rungtan, with its incredible vintage textile collection, and Pinocchio, a quirky clay studio heralding from Bangkok.
NAP 2015 runs from Sunday December 6 to Thursday December 10 on Nimmanhaemin Soi 1, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The festival is typically held around this time every year. For future dates and a full list of exhibitors, follow Nimman Soi 1 on Facebook. For more coverage of this year’s event, visit The Kindcraft.
