IAMM & the Masjid Negara: Kuala Lumpur in Pictures

We recently spent 24 hours in Malaysia’s capital city, eating, walking and admiring the architecture. Two of my favourite spots in KL were the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (IAMM) and KL’s National Mosque, the Masjid Negara. Both buildings were a lot of fun to photograph; here a few more pictures to inspire your next visit!

Despite the many new mosques that came to being, Masjid Negara is still my favorite! The open umbrella design is a truly tropical symbol of shelter! The pools and fountains give visitors and worshipers the much needed physical and emotional cooling effect!
