The capital of Colombia’s vibrant Antioquia Department, Medellin has become one of the country’s most-coveted destinations in recent years.
Deciding where to stay on your first visit to Medellin can be a challenge – the city is huge, very hilly, and not all neighbourhoods are suitable for tourists.
If you only have one or two days in Medellin, I definitely recommend staying somewhere central. I recently spent three weeks in the city, staying at a lovely Airbnb in the Laureles area.
There is no shortage of apartments for rent in the city via Airbnb, ranging from simple studios in the heart of El Poblado, through to ultra-glamorous penthouses with panoramic city views.
This curated list brings together 10 of the very best Medellin Airbnb rentals, each chosen for its excellent location, beautiful design and positive endorsements from travellers.
